213.325.1538 | [email protected]Karon Grider joined UNITE-LA in 2021 as a member of the Accounting team. She works closely with the Senior Director of Accounting on a variety of special projects, in addition to helping ensure the accuracy and timely processing and reporting of UNITE-LA’s daily accounting transactions.
Grider has devoted more than 20 years of her career to working for nonprofit educational establishments, including Turning Point School in Culver City, Westwood UMC Preschool in Los Angeles and STAR Education in Culver City. Previously, she served as joint staff auditor for the Directors Guild of America and Writers Guild of America and as staff auditor at various Fortune 500 corporations throughout the Los Angeles area.
Grider is a graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is also an avid sudoku and jigsaw puzzle solver, enjoys writing poems, designing her own clothes and staying active by taking long walks, biking and stair climbing.
