Seek the involvement of local businesses, employers, labor unions, community organizations as well as individuals
To provide career exposure opportunities for Westside elementary, middle, high school and community college students.
Career exposure opportunities enhance student motivation, academic performance and teach needed skills for college and career success. As
employers, you play a vital role in these opportunities by linking classroom learning to the practical workplace skills of understanding supervision, problem solving,
collaborative work and ethical actions.

- Host workplace field trips for students
- Arrange job shadowing and job mentoring opportunities
- Offer achievement-based scholarships
- Participate in career fairs
- Serve on advisory committee to partner with educators
- Offer supplies/equipment/services
- Supply real work computer literacy training for students and/or teachers.
