California Schools Get Structural Support from AB1465 Governor Schwarzenegger signed the $25 million New Construction and Modernization Bill on September 29, 2004. The bill sets aside significant bond moneys to increase the incentive for districts to build and/or reconfigure large comprehensive high schools into smaller learning communities. more

Correction to the October SLC Newsletter Last month we mistakenly reported that the Monroe High School UPP program was two years old. Dr. Vallone, now Administrator in Charge of Instruction for District 7, pointed out to us that the UPP program actually began four years ago, celebrating their first graduating class this year. Congratulations to them!
