It is vital that we continue to invest in effective and efficient workforce development programs tied to market- and employer-relevant outcomes, including paid work experiences and internships for young adults, which are critical to bolstering the region's economy and getting people back to work.  This also includes adequate implementation and investments in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, regional sector partnerships, career pathways, adult education and service to address the needs of veterans.
