Chelsey Holmlund, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, has been with UNITE-LA since 2007. She works across all UNITE-LA teams to support fundraising and development efforts. Holmlund also supports the development of local, state and national partnerships across the cradle-to-career spectrum.
Holmlund has more than 15 years of experience working within philanthropic, nonprofit and corporate circles to improve the lives of young people. Before joining UNITE-LA, Holmlund managed a tutoring and after-school program at Norwood Elementary School in South Los Angeles. She is also a trained Court Appointment Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer where she advocates for the needs of foster youth.
Holmlund earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California and lived in Los Angeles for 10 years. She then moved to New York City where she lived for five years before returning to her hometown of San Diego, where she currently resides with her husband and dog, Milo.
