213.325.1526 | [email protected]Humberto Manuel Estratalán serves as UNITE-LA’s Director of Public Policy where he helps lead the organization’s cradle-to-career policy team. Estratalán is currently working to move forward a progressive education policy agenda with an influence on early care and education.
Estratalán has more than a decade of professional experience in all levels of government, public affairs, community engagement and public policy. His advocacy and civic engagement work has reached thousands of parents and community stakeholders, preparing them with the civic tools necessary to enhance their communities.
Outside of UNITE-LA, Estratalán founded a limited liability company (LLC) named Estratalán LLC. Through Estratalán LLC, Estratalán is leading a California specific three-year strategic plan for Jumpstart for Young Children. Prior to joining UNITE-LA and founding Estratalán LLC, Estratalán worked as an Associate for Laura Valles and Associates Inc., Child 360 (formerly LAUP) and for two members of the California State Assembly.
Outside of work, Estratalán enjoys spending time with his wife and cooking with his young daughter, Thalia.
