Position:
Reporting to UNITE-LA’s Director of Digital Equity, the Manager of LA DEAL is passionate about meaningfully engaging cross sector stakeholders in Los Angeles and California to address the digital divide. The Manager will help support the development of relationships with targeted leaders from business, education, government, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders in Los Angeles and more broadly in California to identify opportunities to advance digital equity. Additionally, the Manager will help activate and connect key stakeholders to engage in policy/advocacy, programming and systems change efforts.

Job Description:
- Support the advancement of current innovative initiatives to support key stakeholder engagement in broadband deployment efforts in communities across Los Angeles and California
- Coordinate between UNITE-LA and Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) for their collaborative efforts related to local/statewide stakeholder engagement efforts related to digital equity
- Coordinate and document all regional/statewide stakeholder engagement efforts for Los Angeles Digital Equity Action League (LA DEAL)
- Support the Director of Digital Equity with all logistics associated with convening roundtables, hosting events, providing technical assistance, creating and curating content for stakeholder-friendly communications, elevate promising and best practices for digital equity and inclusion
- Promote and elevate the work through different communications strategies to external audiences, including businesses, chambers, government, nonprofits/CBOs, and philanthropy
- Take the lead in monitoring, updating and tracking project deliverables using Asana project management platform
- Support the development of some key deliverables, including maintaining meeting agendas, notes, as well as LA DEAL’s database of priority areas, prospective projects, contacts, maps and data
- Review and respond to NOFOs issued by State, Federal and Philanthropic organizations
- Support report development and submission to funders on activities and outcomes accomplished
- Engage in all-hands-on-deck UNITE-LA projects and events
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or team lead
Requirements:
- Type of experience:
- Experience advancing issues related to digital equity and inclusion
- Experience successfully developing, implementing, growing, and managing projects and/or programs
- Experience serving as an intermediary between the business community, institutions of education and other community stakeholders on equity and inclusion issues
- Experience with Salesforce and Mailchimp, Canva or other productivity tools is desirable

Compensation:
This is a full-time position, with a starting annual salary of $61,152 to $71,152. The full range for a Manager title is $61,152 to $75,600. If you are offered a position at UNITE-LA, your final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant skills, experience and/or education.
