UNITE-LA values its role as a trusted bridge between business and education stakeholders and constantly strives to increase its alignment with industry allies. Two of those allies are this month's partner spotlight! As members of both the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce, UNITE-LA partners with both Chambers in their respective legislative and education workforce development areas.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is a long-standing partner of UNITE-LA, especially on the advocacy front! Most recently, UNITE-LA's Policy team, in partnership with the Hollywood Chamber, held an exciting, virtual webinar, "Education Means Business: The Role of Child Care and Its Impacts on Our Economy." The program featured California Sen. Connie M. Leyva (SD 20) as she discussed the importance of ensuring California's working parents and guardians have access to affordable, quality early care. Watch the recording. The Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce is the leading organization dedicated to organizing and uniting Latino business owners to grow and create positive economic impact. We look forward to lending our support by aligning legislative priorities and advocacy opportunities on issues related to cradle to career workforce development and future joint programming. UNITE-LA is very grateful to collaborate with these partners who are helping elevate an even better L.A.!
