UNITE-LA, in partnership with the City of Los Angeles' Economic & Workforce Development Department, launched the Real World of STEAM programming providing youth (ages 14-24) with career exposure/awareness throughout the different disciplines within the STEAM umbrella. Over the last year of programming, UNITE-LA has served more than 200 youth referred to by our partners at Boyle Heights Tech Center, Para Los Niños and UCLA YouthSource Center.
