Last month, UNITE-LA's My Pathway to Health program had 25 participants successfully earn their Basic Life Support (BLS) training certifications, with two more already certified from a previous session—bringing our total to 27 BLS-certified participants!

As we closed out the first session, participants learned about exciting next steps—including opportunities like the Cope Health Scholars program. Participants are transitioning into the second part of the program where there is hands-on training in the allied health pathway of their choice, including EMT, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Community Health Worker.
