Last month, UNITE-LA supported the monthly R.E.A.L. EDWD Committee meeting, which featured a discussion with Ben Chida, Chief Deputy Cabinet Secretary, Office of the Governor.

Chida shared his candid assessment of the challenges of our current education system and an impassioned call to action to support much-needed innovation to dismantle the misalignments hindering our youth and workforce from equitable access to opportunities and pathways. The committee looks forward to supporting these efforts as strategies for the CA Master Plan for Career Education.
