Bringing Credential Transparency to the Forefront

UNITE-LA, the Center for Education Excellence and Talent Development at the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Credential Engine is leading regional efforts to bring transparency to the credentialing marketplace by harnessing technology to make information on degrees, certifications, licenses, badges, apprenticeships, and other types of educational and occupation-related credentials available to the public. We are working to ensure all credentials offered in the L.A. area are available through an online registry to provide students, job-seekers, employers, and other key stakeholders the data to make informed decisions about investing in education, training, and hiring. At this convening, we invite L.A. area employers to learn more about the project and weigh in on its strategic direction.
