Principal for a Day Shadowing will take place the morning of Friday, November 3 at a school site (location to be determined), with a culminating luncheon scheduled between noon (check-in and registration) - 2 p.m at the The L.A. Hotel located at 333 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles 90071.
As we get closer to the event, you will be receiving additional information regarding:
Your Principal for a Day assignment: You will receive your Principal for a Day official assignment packet containing information about your assigned “Principal for a Day” school after the Oct. 13, 2017 registration deadline. The packet will contain contact information for your match (so that you can connect ahead of time), a schedule for the day, and a list of activities you can anticipate to participate in during PFAD.
Training Phone Calls: In order to maximize the benefits of the Principal for a Day activity for you and the school you visit, we are organizing two optional conference calls for all participants that have registered. The purpose of these calls is to review suggestions for how to maximize the impact of the “Principal for a Day” experience and to answer any questions you might have. We encourage you to participate, especially if this will be your first PFAD experience.
