
Senior Manager, Southern California Edison
Tara L. Becnel is a Senior Manager within the Customer Service Operations Division at Southern California Edison (SCE), where she leads a dynamic Project Management Team. With more than 26 years of experience at SCE, Becnel has been instrumental in advancing key projects that drive regulatory compliance, operational improvements, and significant cost savings for the company.
Becnel also serves as the Vice President of Networkers, one of SCE's business resource groups (BRGs) dedicated to the recruitment, retention and advancement of African American/Black employees. The Networkers promote diversity of thought, career enhancement strategies, and provide targeted coaching and mentoring, all while supporting local Black communities. These efforts align closely with SCE's mission to fuel innovation that transforms the energy industry and the communities it serves.
Becnel's commitment to innovation and excellence has consistently supported SCE’s mission to deliver safe, reliable and affordable power to its customers. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Cal Poly Pomona.
