One of the populations that's been struggling most this year is our college students, particularly first-year students who must study and learn from home. Not having the opportunity for the on-campus college experience – both academically and socially – is challenging and disappointing. Many decided to not even attend college due to financial hardships. UNITE-LA knew we had to do our part. We partnered with SoCal CAN to take the statewide Let's Go to College California campaign and make it available locally to serve students in the L.A. region with Let's Go to College LA. The campaign has included:

• Virtual workshops on best at-home study habits and financial aid resources;
• Motivational messaging on how best to cope with the current times and take care of our mental health; and
• Support with reminders of important college dates and timelines.

We look forward to continuing to support our students virtually throughout this pandemic and beyond!
