Many of you know the importance of obtaining a bachelor's degree as pivotal to elevating families to the middle class and equitably furthering our economy. For many, community colleges are often the starting point to complete a bachelor’s degree. So, the best opportunity to close the equity gaps is to make sure individuals can succeed in community college. This is where the importance of associate degree for transfer programs becomes clear. But there are many challenges related to student success.
