Ariana Oliva joined UNITE-LA in September 2018 and has since supported the strategic advancement of the L.A. Compact, a bold commitment to close the education and workforce gaps caused by systemic inequities and racism.
She collaborates with cross-sector stakeholders to support multiple L.A. Compact strategies, including the advancement of a comprehensive PreK-12 community school framework for Los Angeles County. She also supports senior leadership and members of the L.A. Compact Stewardship Group in identifying and seeking new opportunities to drive student outcomes along the cradle-to-career continuum.
Oliva is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach and served as an Executive Fellow from 2008 to 2009 as part of the prestigious Capitol Fellows Program in Sacramento.
Outside of work, Oliva is building up her photography skills by trekking around town to capture birds in mid-flight, beautiful sunsets and much more. She also enjoys cooking and trying out recipes from different cultures. Her latest go to recipe is Thai red curry.
