213.325.1527 | [email protected]Carmen Gomez has been an employee of UNITE-LA since its founding in 1998 and has been providing support to the UNITE-LA president more than 24 years. Gomez serves as the L.A. Cash for College scholarship administrator, helping to ensure more than $5 million in scholarships are provided to youth across Los Angeles. Gomez also supports all accounting matters at UNITE-LA, while also providing administrative support for the L.A. Youth at Work programs.
Previously at UNITE-LA, Gomez administered payroll and coordinated Los Angeles Unified School District bus routes for schools to participate in job shadow trips. Gomez retired from the Los Angeles Unified School District after working in various clerical field positions for 25 years.
Outside of work, you can either find Gomez dancing, cooking in the kitchen, or searching for a getaway flight to Europe.
