213.325.1533 | [email protected]Diana Balbuena is a proud lifelong Angeleno. As a first-generation college student, Balbuena became passionate about studying American Studies and Ethnicity. Interested in counseling other youth, she interned with the UNITE-LA Programs team as a career coach. In this role, Balbuena helped with student recruitment, outreach to external stakeholders and supported the launch of the Cleantech Academy.
Now, as a full-time staff member, Balbuena provides logistical support for virtual and in-person STEAM events, maintains databases and conducts targeted youth outreach to increase the number of youths placed in paid work experiences. As a tech pathways coordinator, Balbuena is the liaison for our partnership with L.A. Trade-Tech, assisting high school students in enrolling and onboarding to earn college credit through our Tech Pathways Academy.
In her free time, Balbuena likes to read and volunteer as part of the USC Latino Alumni Association.
