LA DEAL was able to help secure a total of $200,000 for 10 municipalities in Los Angeles County, from the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF).

In addition to the financial support, the municipal leaders are going to participate in the Local Government Best Practices Check List Learning Community throughout the fall. During the Learning Community, the municipal leaders will discuss how we can collaborate to reach all low-income households in their jurisdiction to get them online and digitally proficient—the essential foundation for closing the digital divide, promoting digital inclusion and achieving digital equity.
