This month, UNITE-LA is highlighting a long-time supporter, the Ballmer Group!
In April, the Ballmer Group awarded UNITE-LA with a generous three-year grant of $1,050,000 to support increasing access to Early Care and Education (ECE) professionals' economic mobility through business engagement, policy and post-secondary education systems change. With Ballmer's support, UNITE-LA has been able to significantly increase the number of employers and business organizations that are leaning in to uplift the connection between access to high-quality child care, workforce participation and economic mobility. We look forward to growing this work over the next few years, expanding our focus on ECE workforce pathways to incorporate partnerships with institutions of higher education. We're grateful for Ballmer's commitment to children, families and our ECE workforce and are excited to work together to advance high-quality ECE in California.
