Partner Spotlight: Boeing

UNITE-LA is proud to recognize Boeing for its ongoing investment in the success of our LA Regional Cleantech Career Academy (Academy) and its commitment to preparing the next generation of cleantech leaders.

Through their incredibly generous $100,000 grant supporting the Academy, Boeing is helping create pathways for young people across Los Angeles County to explore high-demand careers in clean energy. Beyond its financial investment, Boeing has demonstrated a deep commitment to student engagement and mentorship. This year, Boeing's Kamara Sams, Program Director of Sustainability, partnered with UNITE-LA to host the second session of our Executive Leadership Exchange speaker series, facilitated by Tamika Lang, UNITE-LA Board Member and Senior Manager, State and Local Government Operations at Boeing. The series brings together current and alumni Academy participants with industry leaders who share career guidance, leadership insights and inspiration. Boeing has also provided valuable industry exposure for students, including participation in the Academy's in-person launch event at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), where Boeing's Adam Galia, Senior Government Relations Specialist, spoke with students about the growing demand for cleantech talent and emerging career opportunities in the sector. We are grateful for Boeing's partnership and their role in empowering young people with the knowledge, connections and experiences needed to thrive in the careers of the future.
