Last year, UNITE-LA had the privilege of teaming up with the L.A. Partnership for Early Childhood Investment to host a media briefing of an August poll of more than 800 likely voters in Los Angeles County. The poll showed L.A. County voters strongly support public investments in child care as a critical component to post-pandemic economic recovery. It was a highly successful event, and it caught the attention of key political candidates. And now, just a few weeks ago, we teamed up again to unveil “The Economic Benefits of a Professional Early Care and Education Workforce in L.A. County” report. You can read all about it here – the report makes such a compelling case for how L.A. County’s economy benefits if we pay our ECE workers equitably.
UNITE-LA knows our work is successful because of the partners and funders who are as invested in our youth and communities as we are. We are so grateful for their support. So, this month, we say, “Thank you!” to the L.A. Partnership for Early Childhood Investment.
