Partner Spotlight: Youth Thriving Through Learning Fund

UNITE-LA is deeply thankful to the Youth Thriving Through Learning Fund (the YTL Fund), which helps advance our work to transform and align public systems to achieve education and workforce equity in Los Angeles.

Advanced by a collective of leading education philanthropists, the YTL Fund is a powerful catalyst for reimagining education in California—supporting bold, collaborative efforts that transform how systems serve youth, particularly those from historically underserved communities. By investing in strategies like L.A.’s Horizons 32K plan to reduce disconnected youth in the region and the L.A. Region K-16 Collaborative, the YTL Fund helps UNITE-LA work alongside our regional partners to ensure adolescents have meaningful, supportive learning experiences that prepare them for postsecondary and career success. We are grateful for partners who are helping to drive lasting, systemic change that places young people at the center of education and workforce transformation.

The YTL Fund’s partners include: the Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation, California Community Foundation, College Futures Foundation, Gates Foundation, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, San Diego Foundation, Schott Foundation for Public Education, Sobrato Philanthropies, Spencer Foundation and Stuart Foundation.
