UNITE-LA was honored to partner with the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) and Small Business Majority to co-host a webinar supporting employers and business leaders as they navigate new compliance requirements under SB 294, the Workplace Know Your Rights Act.

The session delivered practical, employer-centered guidance on SB 294, including new notice, training and procedural obligations related to immigration-based retaliation, inspection notifications and interactions with law enforcement. The strong participation and engagement reflected a shared commitment across the business community to stay informed and prepared.

We also partnered with the Valley Industry & Commerce Association (VICA) who elevated this critical issue through their VICA University series and hosted a similar session on SB 294 compliance for their business members. We are grateful to our partners for their collaboration and look forward to continuing to provide resources that help employers protect their workforce and operate with confidence.
