UNITE-LA co-hosted a webinar with our partners at National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)–Los Angeles, Small Business Majority and the County of Los Angeles.

UNITE-LA's Senior Director, Regional Business Engagement, Jasmin Sakai-Gonzalez, helped facilitate the February virtual session highlighting how immigrant entrepreneurs and workers strengthen Los Angeles' small-business economy. The conversation elevated small business impacts due to immigration enforcement and practical resources for the year ahead. Speakers also addressed the growing uncertainty facing many small businesses, especially women entrepreneurs, and offered clear guidance to help employers plan with confidence while supporting their employees.
