We are excited to share some wonderful updates about UNITE-LA’s My Pathway to Health participants and the impressive milestones they have achieved over the past month.

• Out of the 30 graduates from Part 1 of the program, 25 successfully transitioned into Part 2;
• Among these 25, 10 participants completed their Phlebotomy training at Phlebotomy USA;
• Five of the 25 passed the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam (with the remaining five participants scheduled to take the NHA exam in November before moving on to their externships);
• Four participants earned certification as EKG Technicians through California Medical Training Center; and
• Five became certified Community Health Workers through the USC Community Health Worker Program.

Additionally, thanks to UNITE-LA staff providing ongoing employment support to My Pathway to Health participants, 10 individuals have secured positions in allied health. We will continue working closely with each participant as they complete their training and take the next steps in their careers.
