2020 Year in Review: UNITE-LA Sliding into DM's

Thanks to partners like you, our independent brand has never been stronger and widespread! Did you know that UNITE-LA is on three different social media platforms? We spent this past year building our brand and growing our social media presence, proudly reaching more than 500 followers on Instagram! We've also gained measurable earned media hits, including: an OpEd on Paid Family Leave in L.A. Parent Magazine, David Rattray quoted in Public News Service on Paid Family Leave, an OpEd on the role of business in dismantling racism in Forbes, coverage of our Candidate Forum on LAist, as well as coverage of our ECE poll in EdSource and The Imprint. While students struggled to adjust to learning from home, the L.A. Compact was featured in ABC7 News when Mayor Eric Garcetti announced his partnership with us on COVID College Connect, a summer initiative to connect incoming college students with resources. We look forward to spreading the breadth of our work and that of our partners with the media this year!
