In April, UNITE-LA participated in the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce's ACCESS Sacramento advocacy event along with more than 60 Chamber members from business and education, as well as community leaders, from the L.A. region for a two-day visit to the State’s capital. The diverse coalition met with state legislators and discussed policies that would encourage economic growth and strengthen education pathways for students.
