In September, Sonia Campos-Rivera, senior vice president of Education Policy and Public Affairs at UNITE-LA, joined a panel at the Southern California Grantmakers Policy Summit titled “Bridging Business and Philanthropy to Protect Immigrant Communities.” The discussion highlighted how intermediaries like UNITE-LA can help businesses strengthen their capacity for effective immigration advocacy.
Panelists also explored how philanthropy and the business community can work together to translate complex policy issues, coordinate cross-sector action and make long-term investments that strengthen collective impact.
