UNITE-LA is currently ranked third out of 80 employer partners in placing participants from the California Volunteers Corps to Career program into paid work opportunities—an important milestone that reflects the organization’s leadership in advancing equitable workforce pathways across California.
Through its partnership with the Corps to Career initiative, UNITE-LA connects participants to high-quality training and employment opportunities in high-growth sectors, including health care, technology and clean energy. Programs such as My Pathway to Health, Step into Tech and the Los Angeles Regional Cleantech Career Academy, along with targeted career exploration events, provide participants with the skills, experience and connections needed to successfully enter the workforce.
This recognition highlights the impact of coordinated, career-connected programming in helping individuals transition from service to sustainable employment—demonstrating a scalable model for expanding access to quality jobs and strengthening California’s workforce.
