Last month, UNITE-LA's Policy team secured support from 14 business organizations for SB 1132 (Smallwood-Cuevas), a co-sponsored bill focused on workforce rights training.

The bill would require the California Workforce Development Board to develop a standardized workplace rights and immigrant know-your-rights curriculum delivered through the state’s workforce development system.
