As part of our ongoing commitment to economic mobility and supporting vulnerable populations, UNITE-LA is proud to collaborate with partners to uplift Measure A, the "Affordable Housing, Homelessness Solutions, and Prevention Now" measure.

Measure A has qualified for the November 2024 ballot in L.A. County and is designed to significantly reduce and prevent homelessness. It proposes repealing the existing 1/4 cent Measure H sales tax and replacing it with a 1/2 cent sales tax to fund accountable, measurable programs aimed at providing long-term solutions to homelessness. UNITE-LA stands behind Measure A because those experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity are the same populations we are committed to uplifting - individuals facing barriers to education, employment and economic mobility.
