From Oct. 21-23, UNITE-LA joined the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) for the Secure America’s Workforce Fly-In in Washington, D.C., where nearly 200 employers from agriculture, hospitality, health care, construction and education sectors from across the nation came together to advocate for bipartisan immigration solutions.

The delegation met with 214 Congressional offices from both sides of the aisle, with one-third held directly with members of Congress, delivering a clear and unified message: America’s economic future depends on a stable workforce and granting work permits to immigrants who have worked and paid taxes for years is the right thing to do. UNITE-LA remains committed to amplifying the business voice for common sense immigration reform because a strong, inclusive workforce is essential to the prosperity of the Los Angeles region and the nation.
