UNITE-LA participated in the first meeting of the Cradle-to-Career Data System (C2C) Workforce Data Task Force, where members reviewed new workforce research questions and metrics proposed for inclusion in C2C by California’s Labor and Workforce Development Agency.

UNITE-LA advocated for the addition of immigration metrics and disaggregation of workforce data for immigrants, who comprise more than 25 percent of California’s residents. These additions (with privacy protections) would advance understanding of labor market outcomes and cradle-to-career pathways for this important population.
