UNITE-LA Today: CA Accessing Economic Mobility Initiative

UNITE-LA conducted a series of exclusive, confidential interviews with a diverse range of affinity business organizations as part of our California Accessing Economic Mobility Initiative, aimed at advancing economic mobility for the state's low-income workers.

This qualitative research complements our fall 2024 comprehensive survey of these business organizations: the interviews provide a deeper dive to increase our understanding of the unique experiences, perspectives and support needs of a range of large and small, statewide and local organizations serving diverse groups. This initiative represents a collaboration among UNITE-LA’s Research & Evaluation (R&E), Business Engagement and National Strategic Partnerships teams. Findings will be instrumental in shaping future, targeted strategies to better support these diverse business entities in advancing economic mobility. For more information about the upcoming programming, please reach out to Jasmin Sakai-Gonzalez, Senior Director of Regional Business Engagement, or Dexter Freeman, Vice President of National Business Coalitions. For further details on the research project, please contact Dr. Lisa Catanzarite, Vice President of Research & Evaluation.
