Last month, UNITE-LA co-hosted a gubernatorial forum with Choose Children California, a campaign guided by a diverse California network of more than three dozen advocates and service organizations committed to creating a thriving future for California children and families.

UNITE-LA's Senior Vice President of Education Policy and Public Affairs, Sonia Campos-Rivera, moderated the forum with gubernatorial candidate Sheriff Chad Bianco. The conversation shed light on the candidate’s vision for putting children and families first, addressing affordability, housing and other crucial issues to ensure California's families thrive. As a non-partisan organization, UNITE-LA will be monitoring future candidate forums to ensure education and workforce opportunities are elevated to strengthen economic mobility across the state.
