Some staff members of UNITE-LA had the opportunity to tour the new South Los Angeles VSEDC Teen Tech Center as part of a developing relationship with Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation. The Center celebrated its Grand Opening in June and supports nearly 300 South L.A. youth by providing talent development programming and connections to local entrepreneurs and leaders across L.A.'s tech ecosystem. We are excited at the alignment with UNITE-LA's Tech Pathway programming and look forward to collaborating with VSEDC, including potential joint programming, sharing of resources and referrals to supplemental programs that will support the South L.A. community!
