UNITE-LA is proud to partner and support California Forward and the California Stewardship Network in the 2022 California Economic Summit, an ongoing movement to make the government and economy work for everyone. The two-day summit is designed to create a shared, economic agenda, the Roadmap to Shared Prosperity, and strengthen the summit network, setting the stage for collective action in 2023. As chairs of the Cradle-to-Career Workgroup and co-chairs of the Workforce Work Group, UNITE-LA will work towards helping identify critical, cradle-to-career priorities California should address to build an inclusive economy for all. The in-person summit will take place Oct. 27-28 in Bakersfield. Previous summits have included Gov. Newsom and members of the state legislature. Click here to learn more.
