UNITE-LA Today: CSUDH Partnership Benefits Low-Income Program Participants

UNITE-LA has partnered with the California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Digital Equity Project, funded by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, to enhance digital access for participants enrolled in our Step into Tech, My Pathway to Health and LA Regional Cleantech Career Academy programs.

CSUDH donated 45 laptops and headsets to distribute to participants from low-income households, who are experiencing digital access challenges and are enrolled in a public benefits program. This partnership came at the ideal time with the sunsetting of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), where we partnered with Microsoft to provide 43 participants with free laptops and access to affordable internet.
