UNITE-LA had the pleasure of engaging in the California Economic Summit, which was attended by Gov. Gavin Newsom as well as several of the gubernatorial candidates.

There was a focus on the state’s investment in the K-16 Collaborative and CA Jobs First, led by our partners at Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, and the continued path toward a regions-up framework that secures stable, flexible funding at the state level for regionally prioritized projects. This work is all in the name of the triple bottom line: equity, economy and environment.
