Recently, UNITE-LA's Postsecondary Systems Team partnered with the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Greater L.A. Foundation, California College Guidance Initiative and Career Ladders Project to host an in-person Los Angeles County Dual Enrollment Convening on March 2.
There were more than 80 education system leaders and practitioners across the K-16 spectrum in attendance to learn about dual enrollment funding opportunities, relevant policies and best practices. Additionally, attendees had an opportunity to reflect in small group discussions to raise questions, challenges and opportunities regarding equitable dual enrollment programs. UNITE-LA led a small group discussion on Data to Improve Programming, as well as the California College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Implementation and Partnership group. Information from these discussions will be used to inform the very first L.A. County Dual Enrollment Toolkit.
