Last month, UNITE-LA and the LA Partnership for Early Childhood Investment collaborated with Pathways LA to host a forum featuring candidates from two key races in L.A. County: Assembly District 54 and the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education Seat 5.

These two governing bodies play a crucial role in shaping policies and budgets that impact hundreds of thousands of families with young children. Each candidate from both races was given the opportunity to share his or her visions for supporting L.A. County's most vulnerable children, from birth to age 5, and their families.
