UNITE-LA presented the latest information related to Equitable Broadband Access to the Westside Council of Chambers (WC3) Board in July.
In doing so, UNITE-LA ensured WC3 had accurate facts regarding the need to close the broadband infrastructure gap and had a call to action for advocacy so that negotiations take place to achieve equitable rates for all residents in Southern California. As WC3 had a previous presentation from the perspective of leading providers, Amy Cortina, UNITE-LA’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, presented the Board with a holistic understanding of the issue. WC3 represents an impressive network of 13 local chambers of commerce and corporate partners. To learn more, contact Jasmin Sakai-Gonzalez.
