In April, UNITE-LA was honored to have Los Angeles Unified School District’s Board President, Kelly Gonez, join us for a webinar to address the reopening of schools after an entire school year of virtual learning. Board President Gonez shared her priorities for the year, as she leads the nation’s second largest school district during such unprecedented times.

Board President Gonez was unanimously elected Board President of Los Angeles Unified School District last December, making her the youngest female Board President in LAUSD history.
