On June 10, UNITE-LA's Policy team held an Education Means Business policy webinar and brought together Assemblymember David Alvarez (AD-80), Chair of Subcommittee No. 3 on Education Finance, and Edgar Cabral, Deputy Legislative Analyst: K-12 Education, California Legislative Analyst’s Office.

Both speakers provided context and great insight into California’s current fiscal outlook and its impacts on our state’s cradle-through-career educational systems. They also touched on the uncertainty that the federal government is creating in Californians by not adhering to previously made commitments.
