Last month, members of the UNITE-LA Programs Team were busy representing UNITE-LA throughout Los Angeles.
- The UNITE-LA Programs Team tabled for one of our new partners, Learn4Life, at their College/Career and Resource Fair. The attendees were high school students ranging from 14-24 years old. Staff shared information about our career pathway programs and internship opportunities with students. UNITE-LA also connected with several potential partners that provide resources and career pathway opportunities for youth and young adults.
- The UNITE-LA Programs Team tabled at Home Again Community Fair in Glendale, sharing information about our upcoming programs and events.
- UNITE-LA showed up to participate in the L.A. Career Expo hosted by the LAUSD Division of Adult and Career Education in DTLA, connecting with current and potential educational partners.
- UNITE-LA joined the L.A. Rams and California Student Aid Commission (CSAC), who hosted a College Resource Day for high school juniors and seniors at SoFi Stadium.
- UNITE-LA's L.A. Cash for College program, Cal-SOAP LA, the NCAA and Common App were present to provide students and their families with information on the college-going process.
