Do you know a student who wants to further his or her design, engineering, marketing or communication skills? A student interested in building new worlds in Augmented Reality? Passionate about working in the tech industry? Snap Inc., the maker of Snapchat, is hosting four Snap Academies this summer for community college (or recent transfer) students to learn about working in tech. Snap Inc. is an employer partner with whom UNITE-LA is working to recruit students for this year's Snap Academies.
Each program provides a unique learning experience by working on industry-related projects, gaining career insights from Snap Inc. team members, building relationships with mentors, and developing student portfolios for future internships and work. Students will receive an academy scholarship to participate in the program. Students can sign up to be notified and apply at snapacademies.com. To keep track of your application status, students may also apply on Guided Compass for up-to-date information. If you have questions, you can email the Snap Academies directly here.
And as always, follow UNITE-LA on Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to stay up to date on this and all our happenings!
