UNITE-LA's National Strategic Partnership team would like to share news and resources relevant to the intersection of education and business communities. We highlight best practices, trends and learnings to be considered as we work to collectively enrich the local landscape.

• Through UNITE-LA's partnership with the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Foundation (ACCEF), the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and the Lumina Foundation, UNITE-LA is supporting communities to build out equitable credential attainment collaboratives. • The National Strategic Partnerships team is gearing up to deliver two virtual, skills-based hiring series to chamber professionals in April and May. The series of six weekly sessions will be an interactive training to help chambers of commerce gain a foundation in skills-based hiring, a talent recruitment strategy where companies identify skills needed to fill open positions and reduce bias. By the end of the series, participants will learn how to apply and coach teams through a skills-based strategy.
