On Sept. 17, the L.A. Region K–16 Collaborative launched a new series of regional partner convenings, bringing together partners from all five subregions to reconnect, exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration. Designed in response to partner feedback, the convenings create a shared space for K–12, community college, university and regional partners to learn from work happening across the broader K–16 ecosystem.

During the first convening, partners shared successes and promising practices and engaged in conversations around dual enrollment, transfer and work-based learning. The gathering also created opportunities to identify common needs, challenges and strategies that could inform the work ahead.

As the convenings continue, partner feedback will help UNITE-LA identify opportunities for technical assistance, resources and regional coordination that add value to the work already underway across the five subregions.
